ENA Screening Kit

Antibodies against ENAs occur in patients with a wide range of systemic rheumatic and connective tissue diseases. This screening EIA kit is designed for the detection of specific IgG autoantibodies against extractable nuclear antigens (SSA/Ro (52 and 60 kD), SSB/La, Sm, Sm/RNP, Scl-70 and Jo-1).

Antigens

The screening assay microwells are each precoated with 7 purified antigens, namely, SSA/Ro (52 and 60 kD), SSB/La, Sm, Sm/RNP, Scl-70 and Jo-1.

Calibration

The assay is calibrated against an arbitrary reference. The results are semi-quantitative and are defined by the formula below:
