The Binding Site offers a comprehensive benefits program for its employees and their dependents. Medical and Dental benefits are effective the first of the month following hire.

All regular full time employees and some part time employees are eligible to receive the following benefits:

Medical Insurance

All eligible employees and their dependents can enroll in the group PPO Plan. Employees located in California have an HMO option. Both plans offer acupuncture, chiropractic coverage and comprehensive pharmacy drug benefits including reduced co-pays for mail orders.
The Company pays 100% of the premium for employees for either plan and splits the cost to cover dependents. 

Dental Insurance

Dental insurance is offered for all eligible employees and their dependents. Our plan allows you to use any licensed dentist and covers cleaning/preventative services at 100%. Basic and major services, including orthodontia, are covered with varying co-insurance amounts.
 
The Company pays 100% of the premium for employees and splits the cost to cover dependents.

Health Reimbursement Arrangement (HRA)

The company contributes to an HRA for all employees to use for reimbursement of out-of-pocket expenses each plan year. This account can be used for out-of-pocket expenses associated with medical and prescription co-pays or deductibles.

Life Insurance/AD&D

We provide all regular, full time and part time employees who work at least 30 hours a week, Basic Life Insurance and AD&D coverage at no cost to the employee.

Employees have the option of buying additional coverage for themselves and their dependents. Employees can buy this additional coverage for up to five times their annual salary up to a maximum of $500,000.

Short Term Disability

Short Term Disability insurance provides eligible employees with a source of income should they become unable to work due to a non-occupational disability. The company pays the full cost of the premium for this benefit. You become eligible for coverage on the first of the month following your hire date.

Short Term Disability benefits start on the 8th day of the disability and terminate on the 89th day. Benefits are reduced by any other disability benefits to which you may be entitled, such as Social Security, State Disability and similar programs.

Long Term Disability

Long Term Disability insurance works the same as Short Term Disability Insurance and picks up coverage on the 90th day of your disability. The company pays the full cost of the premium for this benefit. You become eligible for coverage on the first of the month following your hire date.

Benefits are reduced by any other disability benefits to which you may be entitled, such as Social Security, State Disability and similar programs.

401(k) Plan

Following one year of service, the Company contributes 9% of an eligible employee’s compensation into their 401(k) account. This is provided to all eligible employees regardless of how much they elect to contribute on their own. 

Employee Bonus Program

Non-commissioned employees are eligible for annual bonuses based on the Company’s overall performance as well as their years of service. 

Vacation

The Binding Site recognizes that our employees are valuable assets and they are encouraged to take annual vacations. Once eligible for vacation, employees initially accrue at a rate of 11 days per year. Each year on their anniversary, accruals increase to add 1 extra day to their rate until they reach a maximum of 20 days.  

Sick Leave

Regular, full-time employees receive 7 sick days per year and regular part-time employees receive 5 days per year.

The following Holidays are recognized by the Company. 
  • Memorial Day
  • Independence Day with additional designated floater
  • Labor Day
  • Thanksgiving Day
  • Day after Thanksgiving
  • Christmas Eve (1/2 day)
  • Christmas Day with additional designated floater
  • New Year's Eve (1/2 day)
  • New Year's Day

Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

The Binding Site provides an Employee Assistance Program. Licensed clinical professionals offer counseling for relationship & family difficulties, personal problems, and can match you up with a prescreened attorney or financial advisor for legal and financial issues. Employees and anyone living in their household can utilize the service. 

Tuition Reimbursement Program

At the Binding Site, we want to support our employees’ commitment to continue their education and will reimburse $5250 per fiscal year for undergraduate and graduate level courses as long as the employee achieves a “B” or better. Employees may be reimbursed for registration fees, tuition costs, and required textbooks.
